In view of the current English unit, 'What is in the Garden?', I took the children to our school's eco-garden for some experiential learning last Wednesday. The children were free to draw pictures of what they saw there. It was quite a good learning experience. The children got to see the unfortunate sight of plastic bottles and tidbit wrappers strewn in the pond and around the garden, which helped me in educating them on the importance of not littering our environment. Civic-minded Shaun even suggested taking a picture of the sight and showing it to the police! We also got to see a real frog hopping into the pond! The children were really excited at that juncture. I have captured all these in 2 videos and some photos. Click here for the photos. The videos are as below. Enjoy!
