(besides their birthday that is) =)It's Children's Day!!! We celebrated this special day in advance (actual day - 1st Oct) in a really BIG way! The school had organized a carnival filled with food and games for the children! There were also traditional trishaw rides as well as the viewing of the P2 Project Work - Back to the 60s! We were all in a retro mood yesterday! The children have also received many Children's Day gifts from all their teachers. I've given each Courager a keyring photo holder with their photo in it. I hope that this gift will serve as a remembrance of their experiences during their first year of formal education.Below are some photos I've taken. Brian, Jean, Geraldine, Xiao Zhing, Jeslyn, Zi Yang, Aselyn, Diane,Tara, and Grace! They brought with them specially handmade bookmarks for the 1C children.
